Getting Started
Launch your first monitor, alert rule, and status page quickly.
PulseBeacon is an all-in-one monitoring and status platform. All monitor types and all integrations are available on every plan. Plan differences are based on scale and advanced status page options.
Quick Path
1) Create a monitor from the Checks page · 2) Add channels in Integrations · 3) Build alert rules in Notifications · 4) Publish a status page.
Step 1 · Create Your First Monitor
- Open the Checks page and click New check.
- Select monitor type: Heartbeat, HTTP, Keyword, SSL, or Port.
- Set interval/timeout and monitor-specific fields.
- Save, then open the check details page to verify status transitions and recent pings.
Step 2 · Add Alert Channels
- Open Integrations and add at least one destination (Email, Webhook, Slack, Telegram, Discord).
- Use Test on each integration to confirm delivery before attaching it to production rules.
- Create multiple integrations if you need routing by team or environment.
Step 3 · Create Notification Rules
- Open Notifications and create a new rule.
- Choose scope: all resources, specific check, or specific server.
- Select matching events and attach integrations.
- Keep one broad fallback rule, then add narrow rules for critical resources.
Step 4 · Publish a Status Page (Optional)
- Create a hosted page from the Status Pages area.
- Attach checks/servers as components.
- Choose visibility: public, private, or password-protected (plan-gated).
- Optionally connect a custom subdomain and verify DNS/SSL.
Operational Note
Keep your PulseBeacon instance scheduler active in production so monitors, notifications, and status page history continue updating on time.
